Detailed Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to work under our head chef. The ability to take initiative and importantly show commitment to work in a team and communicate at all levels is essential.
Learning prep and cooking will enable you to learn on the job and develop your skills to professional chef standard.
Varied duties will cover all aspects of kitchen operations to produce quality food and beverages: Food prep, knife skills for preparation of fish including presentation, using, cleaning and maintaining kitchen utensils and equipment, fridges and cookers, stock handling, cleaning and general chef support.
Communication skills will be needed to work within a high pressured service team, plus a sensible approach to hygiene, health and safety.
Commitment and respect to one`s self, customers and colleagues is paramount with a pleasant and approachable attitude.
