Description
KC Autos are looking to recruit a Level 2 MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) apprentice for each of the following sites:
- Winsford (CW7 3PD)
- Manchester (M46 9BP)
- Northwich (CW9 7LU)
- Stockport (SK1 2BU)
- Stoke on Trent (ST1 5TG)
You will work in a body shop, strip down accident damaged vehicles prior to them being repaired and rebuild them after. You would work on both light and heavy damaged vehicles from stripping bumpers to removing engines, as well as undertaking basic diagnostic work.
You will be fully supported and mentored throughout the apprenticeship by our expert technicians and receive first class training in all aspects of identifying damaged mechanical and electrical components on clients vehicles.
Training will include:
- Assess faults
- Job cards and assessment reports
- Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components
- Removing and fitting non-structural body panels
- Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems
You will work towards completing the Level 2 (intermediate) apprenticeship and full training is delivered within the workplace.
