Detailed Job Description
To be able to act as first point of contact for all telephone and visitor enquiries, giving advice and assistance where possible and ensuring sufficient and accurate information is recorded and relayed to relevant staff.
The office is the central point of contact for the school and all services provided, which include stationery requests, incoming/outgoing mail. Ensure all phone calls and visitors receive prompt, efficient and courteous service in line with the school policy
Act as an administrative support for the School`s Admin Team including data inputting, collating statistics, day to day typing, photocopying plus creation of posters, tickets, brochures and filing.
Prepare rooms for meetings, organising refreshments.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed by visitors, children and staff at all times.
To receive and administer cash or other forms of payments ensuring documented procedures are adhered to at all times.
Adhere to Apprenticeship training programme with Brockenhurst College.
Maintain awareness of all School Policies and Procedures affecting the Reception area, ensuring compliance at all times including Safeguarding and Child Protection.
Any other duties that may be requested from time to time by your line manager which may not be in the job description but which reflect the general nature of the post.
