Parker House is one of three Global Technology centres, managing and supporting IT Operations for Europe, Asia and Latin America.
The PC Support function is a role within the Computer Operations Department.
As the first point of contact for PC issues, this individual needs to learn to manage priorities and quickly react to customer needs. This person will interact with varied IT technical levels and skills within the Business and needs to be able to adjust their communication depending on the person they are interacting with.

First line support for all PC and Printer related issues, to approximately 150 individuals
English Language and Maths GCSE at grade C or above
A working knowledge of Windows Operating System 7 / 10
Basic troubleshooting skills
Reliable and Punctual

Strong written and verbal communication skills
An interest in IT and Infrastructure technologies
This is an introductory position in the Server Team, teaching an individual the basic foundations and skills of the role. There is an expectation that the team member would progress into the Server Team role longer term once they had gained the required experience.
Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 IT and Telecoms Professionals. All learning will be done in the workplace; you may need to attend the occasional workshop in College. If you need to complete Functional Skills, you will be required to attend College once a week for at least the first 3 months. Apprentices without Maths or English at level 1 must achieve this level and take the test for level 2 Maths and English before the end of the apprenticeship.
There may be additional Parker based soft skills training for example work and time management or effective presentations. We also may provide external training, for example O365 or SCCM.
