Apprentice Joiner required to learn all aspects of Bench Joinery at our busy Beverley workshop where we produce everything from doors to windows to staircases.
Established in 1971 Cottingham Joinery has built a reputation on experience and quality in the manufacture of purpose made joinery. With a workforce of joiners, cabinetmakers and machinists the company utilises up to the date modern machinery to allow us to manufacture to virtually any specification whilst maintaining traditional skills. A wide range of architectural joinery is produced in a variety of hardwoods, softwoods and laminates, including doors, doorframes, windows, staircases and counters all produced to meet the high quality requirements of our most discerning customers. All products are manufactured on a supply only basis and deliveries are made on our own transport or performed by national hauliers giving us the capacity to supply products for companies nationwide. We have over the years maintained a policy of training and apprenticeships to ensure and develop the skills of our joiners and machinists allowing us to maintain a regular skilled workforce.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:
No formal requirements but must have a good understanding of maths as measuring will be essential.
Must have an eye for detail, be creative, must have a real desire to be a bench joiner.
For the right candidate, there is the potential to secure a full time, permanent position within the company, upon completion of the Apprenticeship.
Level 2 Apprenticeship in Bench Joinery. There will also be the chance to obtain Functional Skills in Mathematics and English if required.
