Description

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager/ Senior Events Coordinator, as our Events, Sales & Marketing Apprentice you will be responsible for securing events business through active and relevant marketing which is tracked and identified through close scrutiny of the business. Also using customer service skills to convert phone and email inquiries into business for the hotel.

Further responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the marketing plan is kept up to date, statistics recorded and that all tasks on it are completed in a timely fashion. This should include commentaries and conclusions about trends and competitors.
  • To attend and assist with some meetings to ensure relevant actions and deadlines are captured, forward a copy of these actions and deadlines to the relevant members of the team.
  • Carry out thorough competitor analysis for all departments of the business and identify what we could offer to ensure we are always relevant in the market.
