Detailed Job Description

Assembly

  • Assemble products using pre-made components following company product build procedures as directed by the Workshop Supervisor
  • Soldering pre-made components together
  • Assembling component parts into housings
  • Basic programming of some component parts
  • Cleaning completed items
  • Applying finishing labels and stickers
  • Boxing and packing items where necessary
  • Complete other basic tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor

Production Housekeeping/Health & Safety

  • Ensure all areas of work are kept clean and tidy.
  • Understand the companies health & safety policies

Other

  • To provide any other duties that may be required in line with the production and warehouse function assigned by the workshop supervisor.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE’s including Maths & English

Skills required

  • Dexterous – good hand eye coordination
  • Good Communications Skills
  • Computer Literate

Personal Qualities

Punctual, good team worker, have a good eye and attention for detail, want to learn new skills.

Future prospects

To become a fully trained member of the company.
