Firehouse Fitness have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team. You will learn all aspects of working on the busy gym reception whilst being enrolled on a Business Administration Qualification.
JOB PURPOSE
A role demanding excellent organisational skills, along with the ability to work un-supervised using your own initiative.
You will need to be able to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and communicate well with members/clients.
You will be confident and enthusiastic to providing a high quality service to Firehouse Fitness team but also to our members/clients.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Ability to communicate with staff and members in a pleasant and effective manner.
• Ability to undertake all aspects of administration in accordance with the requirements of the company and members
• Ability to be self-motivating and work without supervision.
• Good organisational skills, paying particular attention to detail.
• Good computer skills.
• Good typing and keyboard skills.
• A good level of English language and grammar.
• We would also expect a high level of integrity as you will have access to members personal data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES
• Entering members details onto systems/databases.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Carry out general admin duties to include filing, typing, photocopying and scanning.
• Maintain and secure records and documents relating to members.
• Process incoming correspondence.
• Maintain internal computer records and filing systems.
• Ensure up to date knowledge of policies, procedures, services and relevant legislation.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
LINE MANAGEMENT
The Reception Apprentice Administrator will report directly to the Gym Manager.
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.
