Little Raccoons Day Nursery is a day nursery for young children aged between 3 months and 5 years, based in Pinner. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate dedication and passion when working with children of all ages and be providing good standards of care & education.
The nursery apprentice must learn to understand and respect the need for consistency of care for children, to include assistance in providing a safe, supportive & caring environment.
They will be involved in developing and delivering a high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for the children within the nursery.
They will be a good communicator with children, parents and other staff, being polite and courteous at all times.
Maintain confidentiality about all issues relating to children and their families; your own and other staff members issues & any other management or operational issues.
This is a role that would enable the successful candidate to make a real impact on the nursery and to be able to build their career and grow throughout our nursery.

Private day nursery – 51 weeks of the year 7:30am – 6:30pm – Closed on Bank Holidays 35 children aged 3 months to 5 years.

A-C grades in Maths and English language.
Confident, Friendly, bubbly, approachable and willing to learn.
Willing to learn and thrives to work over and above their job role.
Work to complete their L3 in childcare, to become a qualified member of staff and work towards team leader and room leader roles.
All learning will be done in the workplace; you may need to attend the occasional workshop in College. If you need to complete Functional Skills, you will be required to attend College once a week for at least the first 3 months. Apprentices without Maths or English at level 1 must achieve this level and take the test for level 2 Maths and English before the end of the apprenticeship.
Shifts will be emailed to staff one week before. All staff must be open to work globally between all nurseries.
