The UK’s largest hotel for people with disabilities are looking for an Apprentice to work mainly in the restaurant but with other duties as required.
Set just off the Blackpool coast, The Bond Hotel is a family-run accessible hotel catering for guests with learning, mental and physical disabilities for over 20 years. Our award-winning hotel that caters for all manner of disabilities is situated close to the heart of Blackpool and its many wonderful attractions. As the UK’s largest accessible hotel we have may fantastic facilities to make planning your holiday as easy as possible.

Interested in working in the Hospitality industry? This vacancy will give you the opportunity to learn all aspects of hospitality service and how to work effectively in this industry.
Tasks and duties of the role may include:
Serving breakfasts and evening meals
Serving teas and coffees
Blending meals when required
Preparing desserts to serve
Setting up for breakfasts or evening meals
Helping out on Reception and serving on residents only bar (if old enough)
The hotel is closed for three months from January to April, but you will be retained during that period and given other work to do: helping with marketing and cleaning + renovation work around the building.
4 GCSE’s at Grades A-D, or equivalent.
Must attain a Level 1 on the initial assessment at College.
We are looking for an individual with a high level of customer service skill with an interest in the hospitality sector. You must be prepared to learn, be hardworking and posses an excellent telephone manner.
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, interested in the hospitality sector, keen to learn, can work well within a team.
Full time position on completion of Apprenticeship.
NVQ Level 2 Hospitality Services
Technical Certificate Level 2 in Hospitality Services
Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths
