The Entertainer offers a comprehensive Work Placement scheme to individuals who would like to experience working in a national retailer. The Placement scheme involves a full training programme and the candidate receives feedback and a certificate upon completion.
The Entertainer was founded in 1981 by husband and wife team, Gary and Catherine Grant. It has over 130 stores in the UK and 6 international stores, Our Mission: Our Mission is to be the best-loved toyshop – one child, one community at a time. The Entertainer is also recognised for its charitable giving. Each year it tithes 10% of its net annual profit to charity, in addition employees are encouraged to donate directly through Payroll giving. The Entertainer currently employs over 1200 staff across the stores and a further 160 in the Head Office in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Our Values: So what does it mean to work for The Entertainer? A passion for retail
Ability to chat to customers
Retail experience with a certificate of Work Placement completion and direct line Manager feedback.
Practical skills in all aspects of company standards, such as merchandising, delivery processing and customer service skills.
Maths and English Functional skills if needed.
