You will be working in the heart of a busy advertising agency and as such the atmosphere is fast paced and challenging so the right candidate will need be smart and enthusiastic.
My Mustard is a pay per click advertising agency started in 2007. We have an established customer base of local, regional and national clients and have grown steadily for the past ten years. We run advertising campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. We are Premier Google Partners, we exhibit at local events and run a Hemel based evening networking group. There are currently seven people in the team and we are based in Old Town Hemel Hempstead, in a bright open plan office.

Working alongside two experienced Campaign Managers your role will include setting up, managing, refining and reporting on advertising campaigns. Supporting the Campaign Manager initially to deliver consistent and improved results before then taking on your own client accounts to manage.
We currently have over 125 live campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube and you will learn all four platforms. We strive to deliver excellence and consistency in all aspects of client communications and delivery.
Campaign copywriting and budget management are both key aspects of the role so being numerate and literate are essential. The role is crucial to the success of the organisation and as such your efforts will be recognised and rewarded.
30 hours per week moving to 35 after three months and 40 after six months.
Monday – Friday 10am – 3.30pm including 30 minute unpaid lunch break
A minimum of A*-C (9-4) in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent
Well organised, methodical with strong attention to detail and confident computer skills.
Flexible, positive and customer-friendly with a genuine desire for a career in digital advertising.
Our business is growing and each year we gain more clients and add more advertising products to our portfolio. In the past members of the My Mustard team have grown and developed with the business and after successful completion of your apprenticeship the role will very possibly become permanent with added responsibility, opportunities and salary.
Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration
You will be based at our office almost always; occasionally you will be required to attend events with members of the team but will be driven there/back. There are professional exams that you may be asked if you would like to study for but that would be after successful completion of the apprenticeship. You will spend almost all of your time at a PC and whilst there is variety – new clients, new platforms, new campaigns – please be aware that the role has a certain degree of repetition – set up, refining, reporting.
