Detailed Job Description

General duties to include; Mucking out Turning out/bringing in Tack cleaning Tacking up Feeding Filling hay nets Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing Rug changing Paddock maintenance Schooling Riding First aid Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

Ability to do functional skills to a minimum level of EL3

Skills required

Experience with Horses would be beneficial.

Personal Qualities

Hardworking, loyal, willingness to learn new skills

Future prospects

A full time position on completion of apprenticeship
