This is a fantastic opportunity to join an in-demand, ever growing business. Over the next two years, we are looking to expand across the country after our immense success in the South West. As a Front of House Apprentice, you're role is deliver first class service to all our guests in our American inspired street food restaurant. We need you to maintain 100% customer focus and always be a positive ambassador for Hubbox which we will train you to be. This is the first time the Hubbox team have hired Apprentices, and it could be you!

HUBBOX is an essential stop-off for amazing American inspired street food & great drinks. We have an extensive menu of award-winning burgers made using 21 day dry-aged Cornish rare breed beef. Our hot dogs are New York style & produced in the UK using 100% free-range oak smoked pork.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by working with the team to consistently deliver a first class service experience.
  • Deliver a 100% customer focused service through being welcoming, attentive and able to adapt to the customers varied needs.
  • Create a positive and relaxed environment.
  • Communicate customer feedback to your line manager, and ensure all situations are dealt with as they happen
  • .Consistently deliver the Hubbox service experience to all guests.
  • Work with a sense of urgency, be proactive and always be a step ahead.
  • Be confident and knowledgeable of our standards and products.
  • Ensure all food and drinks are delivered to company standards.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

Skills required

The programme involves developing effective knowledge, behaviours and skills in topics as:

  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Receiving and dealing with customer feedback.
  • Understanding how your role contributes to the financial performance of the business.
  • Communicating clearly and engaging customers to build positive relationships.
  • Positively promoting the organisation to increase customer loyalty.
  • Preparing and serving wines and cocktails.
  • Preparing and serving hot drinks.
  • Providing counter, buffet, take-away and carvery service.
  • House keeping.
  • Managing stock.
  • Carrying out reception, concierge and guest services.
  • Providing a positive customer service – creating a positive impression of the organisation.
  • Promoting additional services and up-selling and resolving customer service problems.
  • Maintaining health, safety and security of the working environment including food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Hospitality Team Member Apprentices must select from one of the following specialist functions: Food & Beverage, Alcoholic Beverage Service, Barista, Food Production, Concierge and Guest Services, House Keeping, Reception.

Shift work is essential on Hospitality. The working days are from Monday - Sunday between the hours of 9.30am and 10pm.
