Detailed Job Description

Customer service is of upmost importance to us we want you to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in a friendly and professional atmosphere.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Answering the telephoneBooking appointmentsCatering to needs of the clients in the salonYou will be a key member of the team making sure the stylists are organised and supporting them on a daily basisYou must be:Very well organisedConfidentHave a bubbly personalityWe are looking for someone who is highly motivated and has a genuine passion for working and progressing in the hairdressing industry

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

· Ideally with A-C grades in English, Maths and IT or equivalent. However this is not essential.

Skills required

  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Packages (Excel, Outlook, Word etc).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Punctual with great time management.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.

Personal Qualities

  • Professional and able to represent the company positively always.
  • Confidence – this role will involve speaking with external suppliers and customers.
  • Adaptable – able to pick up new tasks quickly and see jobs through to completion.
  • Outgoing – can quickly fit into the current team.
  • The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team and be respectful to team members at all times.
  • Be an excellent communicator at all levels, via telephone and face-to-face.
  • Be able to use their own initiative.

Future prospects

This could lead to a permanent position within the company

Additional Information

Training provided

Training Provided Learner will receive training 1 day a week at Nelson and Colne College to work towards an apprenticeship. On the job training will be provided by the employer
