We are looking for a Maintenance Co-ordinator who’s primary role will be to answer the telephones and book maintenance issues, reported by tenants, with our contractors.

Detailed Job Description

  • Answering the telephones and logging maintenance issues reported by tenants.
  • Calling tenants to book works in, and to check resolution.
  • Create Excel job sheets and send to contractor advising of issue and other information collected
  • Arrange annual gas safety inspections and Megaflo services for all rental properties
  • Order materials, tools, and appliances, and create purchase orders
  • Co-ordinate works for empty properties in between tenancies
  • Maintain property Excel spreadsheets
  • Scanning / copying / printing / filing
  • Attending daily morning meeting

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Answering Telephones
  • Taking instruction
  • Good understanding of the internet and Google

Good timekeeping, good listener and communicator. Well presented, and well mannered.

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Business Administration within the workplace during regular visits with a member of our dedicated team of Training Advisors.

Our Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Programme consists of the following.

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration
  • Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT Level 2 (portfolio & test)
