This vacancy is for a Payroll Administrator Apprentice based in Blackburn, Lancashire The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake valuable work experience whilst gaining on the job qualifications.

The suitable candidate will be:
Working within a general payroll bureau,
processing client payrolls,
good team member,
willing to learn, good attention to detail,
good communication skills,
professional & committed always courteous to staff and clients.
GCSE’s in Maths, English Language will be a requirement.
Excellent communication and people skills
A confident and positive attitude
Word processing skills
Good verbal communication and listening skills
Ability to follow instructions and organise yourself to complete tasks fully and on time
Ability to use initiative to think through problems to find solutions
Literate with good written communication Ability to check for accuracy and give attention to detail
Ability to answer, speak confidently and take messages on the phone
Knowledge of spread sheets, word processing and databases
Ability to use initiative
Calm under pressure
Good personal organisation
The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team and be respectful to team members at all times. Be an excellent communicator at all levels, via telephone and face to face. Be able to use their own initiative.
Permanent position within the payroll bureau, opportunity of learning other areas of business, maybe AAT/TAX or further payroll qualifications.
