GGP Systems Ltd is a spatial technology company that delivers award-winning software solutions to UK public sector organisations. We currently require a Personal Assistant Company Administrator Apprentice to join our workforce and complete an Apprenticeship in business and administration.

As an Apprentice your duties will include;

Diary management

Updating our twitter page and tweets

Organising internal and external meetings

Arranging travel and accommodation for all staff Receptionist/Switchboard management Sales and Marketing support when required – this will include but is not restricted to helping the Sales and Marketing Team arrange events.

Providing a professional, helpful and friendly service to callers, who may consist of prospective customers, customers, industry contacts and other important people.

Welcoming and receiving guests Teas/Coffees/Office hospitality seasonal administration, such as Christmas cards to customers Staff time management and reporting using the Time Vision softwarePutting together documentation e.g. training manuals General office administration

Maintaining the purchase order folder and spread sheet.

Assisting the Director in the general day to day management of the business and helping to resolve any issues that arise

Assisting with managing staff and monitoring conduct and performance

Assisting with organising staff appraisals

Helping to put together company procedures and assisting to implement them

Working with the Director and supporting staff on recruitment of new employees

Putting together offer letters and contracts with support from the administration team Conducting inductions for new members of staff.

Supporting management in resolving issues with customers when necessary Sending out monthly eShots to promote GGP TrainingTelesales to sell GGP desktop licences into new local Authority/Fire and Rescue Service /Housing sites/Police ForcesFollowing up to close salesKeeping our Database Sugar CRM up to date.

Attending company events and meetings as and when necessary

Planning and co-ordinating events with support when necessary e.g. User groups Any other tasks to assist the Management team/Project Manager/Finance/Sales and Marketing.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a business and administration qualification. Your qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
