Description

Reporting to the Professional Services Manager in our Redruth head office the candidates role would include the following :

  • Writing of custom code within our chosen languages to help our clients achieve their required aim.
  • Development of custom web based solutions, communication solutions and traditional print and mail output.
  • Work with our IT department to design, build and implement network services to support our daily operations.
  • Develop and implement complete software solutions (applications range from traditional direct mail to transactional and critical mail solutions) to meet client and business requirements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes.
  • Working within the Professional Services team, support the analysis of client application requirements and identify solutions using the range of tools available. These include SQL, GMC and other cutting edge line of business and analysis tools.

  • Taught Sessions at College (1 day a week):
  • You will be given the opportunity to gain the following industry recognised professional qualifications.
  • BCS Systems Development Essentials.
  • At least one another software development qualification.
  • Work-based Learning:
  • Within the workplace you will be given the opportunity to develop a portfolio of work demonstrating and evidencing your development of skills, knowledge and competence.

Essential:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a future job role.
The working days would be Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm. There would be flexibility towards additional hours as and when required. There is also a 3 month probationary review.
