The Patient Advisor will be the focal point of communication between the patients, doctors and other clinical and non-clinical staff. This encompasses dealing with incoming calls from external organisations, the general public and patients; dealing with queries, appointments and reception desk cover. The role also has responsibility for dealing with incoming post, prescriptions, scanning, GP liaison and instructions. The role can be challenging however never boring and extremely satisfying.
