Description

As an Apprentice Pro Cook your duties will include:

Cutting and preparing fish, frying fish and making batter along with salads and sauces.

As we are a Quality Award Holder, the applicant will be given the chance to learn best practices within a Fish and Chip shop, for example, frying medium management, portion control and quality control for each food product and learn to do this consistently.

Applicant will learn about stock rotation, food hygiene, day to day running of the business.

They will also learn about the seafood industry as a whole.

New product development and aspects of marketing the products/business will also be part of the role.

Successful applicants will be able to work well under pressure and as part of a team in a fast paced work environment.

They will enjoy new challenges, be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic about building a career in this industry.
