Description

We are looking to recruit a Level 2 Equine Groom to assist our Yard Manager with the day to day running of our professional equine yard and to work towards your qualification while you are with us.

This position would suit someone with equine knowledge who wishes to progress to a career with horses and gain a nationally recognised qualification within the industry.

We are a friendly and supportive team, with an all weather ménage on-site and situated in an area of outstanding beauty. The position will come with the opportunity for lots of off road hacking, as well as top class training to improve your riding skills.

Experience with horses is essential for this role. Due to our rural location you must have your own transport.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills in maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training
Successful candidate will be fun and upbeat with a great work ethic to get stuck into all aspects of the yard.
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom on completion of Level 2.
