Detailed Job Description

The primary role of an IT Technical Salesperson is to sell a company’s technical products and services. They need a good knowledge and understanding of the portfolio of technologies that are available.

They work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible from customers both internal and external, UK or internationally.

To support the sales cycle of Vodafone’s technical products and/or services.

The Junior Sales Specialist will work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible from customers both internal and external, UK or internationally and where appropriate, support the approach of potential customers with the aim of winning new business.

This role will also involve gaining a thorough understanding of existing technologies and those that are emerging.

You could be involved in the following:

•Analyse / prioritise opportunities and time accordingly to achieve targets whilst managing customer expectations.

•Identify and qualify upselling sales opportunities to increase growth and revenue whilst maintaining run rates within customer accounts.

•Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales

•Fully demonstrate the importance of exceptional customer service whilst ensuring that maximum profit is gained.

•Work alongside Sales Specialist team to support opportunities as and when required Managing commercial peering relationships and all stakeholders

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

•Have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English Language)
