Description
The candidate will work closely with our office manager who will actively support and encourage them to achieve their full potential within this role. No two days will be the same – whilst there are basic tasks that need to be completed as per the list below, we need to undertake whatever is required at the time.
Duties would include:
- Answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries
- Production of delivery notes and order confirmations
- Maintaining the spreadsheet which co-ordinates orders, payments and deliveries
- Basic data entry to ensure all our systems remain accurate and up to date
- Booking accommodation for delivery drivers and for show events Co-ordinating deliveries and planning the drivers route
- Maintaining filing systems, creating files for new orders , scanning and saving delivery notes archiving files once complete
- Taking card payments over the phone and registering these accordingly
- Producing invoices and statements
- Ordering supplementary products such a post boxes and organising their dispatch on arrival

- Day 8 Project development (½ day): Identification of project; Developing business case; Developing project plan.Health and Safety. Legislation requirements.
- Day 9 Project development (½ day): Reviewing project progress; Developing project.Study ½ day. Apprenticeship Assessment/ Programme Review visit at workplace
- Day 10 Presentation skills:Project review; Presentation skills; Presentation software.Day 11Project presentations. Learner project presentations to employer audience. *Presentation of certificates for unit examination achievements.* Time/duration dependant on cohort group size.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a future job role.
