Description

Startin Skoda have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Administrator to join their team. You will be assisting with all administrative aspects of the ordering and supply of Skoda cars from within the Skoda Dealership, in accordance with company and franchise policies. You will also be working on our reception.

Duties will include;

Support the sales function by processing orders for new and used vehicles.

Ensure systems and vehicle files are set up and maintained accurately.

Complete and submit the relevant forms via AFRL to conform to legislation (V55, Vehicle Tax).

Raise relevant internal paperwork (purchase invoices, cheques, finance documents) ensuring accuracy at all times.

Carry out HPI checks on part exchange vehicles.

Maintain product knowledge through attendance at sales meetings and interaction with other functions within the Skoda Retailer.

Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with the policies, processes and standards of the Skoda Retailer.

Work on our reception desk answering the phone and dealing with customers enquiries, both walk in and on the telephone.

As an Apprentice you will be included on an Intermediate Diploma in Business and Administration Level 2 Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

GCSE English and Maths C or above

Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.

Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.

Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

You will become a permanent member of the team with then opportunity for internal career progression, once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship. There is also the option of a L3 qualification.
