Description

We are looking for someone to join our excellent team as an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner.

You will assist in the provision and maintenance of an emotionally secure, safe, supportive and caring environment whilst working towards your Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce Apprenticeship.

Other duties include:

Caring for children’s care needs

Assisting with cleaning duties

Planning and supervising activities

Supporting Children in their play

Ensuring Children are in a safe environment

Your qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider!

Must be willing to take direction from supervisor of childcare room. Good time keeping skills.
No specific qualifications are required, however GCSE’s in Maths and English are desirable.

Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce Apprenticeship

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.

Apprentices could move to an employed practitioner role and rate of pay swiftly if they demonstrate the ability.
