Lettings Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Apprentice Property Lettings Assistant. You will be a people person with a positive and can- do attitude. The role will therefore suit a person who wants to grow, with a well-financed and innovatively lead business. You will be self-motivated, driven and have your own transport.

Detailed Job Description

  • To create Invoices & Statements to Tenants, Landlords and Contractors
  • Monitor the progress of outstanding Invoices and chase payment accordingly
  • Call Tenants in rent arrears to enquire as to reason for late rent and report back
  • Pay contractors from monies received through CFP Process rents received and pay Landlords not less than every 2 working days
  • Collate and manage debit/credit card transactions
  • Operate a petty cash system and reconcile once a month
  • Make up new Landlord Files with relevant cover sheets
  • Maintain an effective key allocation system for all managed properties
  • Create New Landlord Packs Complete bacs payments on HSBC internet banking
  • Distribute incoming mail and process mail for franking and post Raise credit notes and reverse Invoices on CFP when necessary
  • Upload Tenancy details to DPS and transfer via HSBC payment
  • Carry out bank reconciliation
  • Produce reports
  • General office administration
  • Email Rent Statements and post remainder with accompanying Invoices
  • Deal with all aspects of accounting involving Landlord and Tenant Insurances

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship. In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Property Services within the workplace during regular visits with a member of our dedicated team of Training Advisors. Our Level 2 Property Services Apprenticeship Programme consists of the following: • NVQ Level 2 in Property Services • Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT Level 2 (portfolio & test)
