Description
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- To implement new website/app/API functionality outlined by the product team.
- Take ownership of the company help desk. Ensure tickets are replied to in a quick and professional manner, as well as assigning new tickets to the relevant teams and maintaining and extending the knowledge base content for users.
- To fix bugs and support the codebase.
Other Responsibilities/Duties:
- Keep documentation up to date and maintain existing documentation where needed.
- Administrative tasks including but not limited to issues surrounding data security, database maintenance and data mining.
- Research of mobile and wearable technologies concentrating on movement. Time should be put aside to research new technologies used within mobile to track user’s movement. You need to become our expert on mobile sensor technology, following developments and thinking of ways to make use of such data in the StepJockey app to improve tracking. Monthly reporting back to the product team with findings.

- Good standard of HTML / CSS and basic JavaScript.
- Experience in a server-side programming language.
- Fundamentals of a database technology, ideally SQL.
- GCSE – A to C/ 4 in Maths English and Science.
Taught Sessions at College (1 day a week):
You will be given the opportunity to gain the following industry recognised professional qualifications:
- BCS Systems Development Essentials.
- At least one another software development qualification.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a job role.
The working days are Monday - Friday 9am till 5.30pm. There will be a quarterly Performance Review and annual salary review. May need to Visit the London office on occasion.
