This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established and thriving business, Stefano’s Italian Restaurant We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our team.
The successful candidate should be ambitious and keen to learn.
You will receive extensive training and guidance from our experienced chef.
We have a superb working environment which is provided by our enthusiastic, hands on and supportive owners.

We have an excellent reputation for producing top quality dishes using locally sourced, fresh produce.
Prepare, cook and present food to company specification.
Keep kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues
Keep up to date with new products & menus.
Adhere to company policies, procedures and licensing laws.
Participate and contribute at all team meetings.
Carrying out instructions as given by management.
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Commis Chef Apprenticeship. Your qualification will be delivered by an award winning training provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a monthly basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Food Hygiene Certificate preferred but not essential
Aside from the practical experience gained, you will also work towards a nationally recognised qualification.
This is a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Food Processing & Cookery.
You need to be passionate about food and have a strong desire to work in the hospitality industry.
