Description
Reporting to the Executive Head Chef/ Head Chef, as well as food preparation and basic cooking as our Kitchen Apprentice you will rotate through the different kitchen sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish and larder in order to become a well-rounded chef. Our Kitchen Apprentice will be responsible for ensuring that the senior chefs have the required food preparation for service to go smoothly.
Further responsibilities:
- To ensure that all guests requests/food orders are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.
- To be customer focused at all times, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer’s needs.
- To be a team player, assisting other team members when necessary.
- Ensure that all food preparation areas are maintained in a clean state.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a job role.
Shifts will vary depending on business needs. Will include weekends, morning & evening shifts. Pay will be reviewed after probation period, used to assess capability and performance.
