Pye Motors accident repair centre requires a Paint/Preparation technician to join our team. Applicants must hold or be working towards recognised industry qualifications and have relevant bodyshop experience. Experience of the application of water-based paint is essential. Must be able to prepare panels for paint re-finish as well as be able to polish/finish panels after paint application.

The main duties of this apprenticeship will cover, repairing vehicles that have been damaged. This is likely to involve respraying, repairing panels and painting bodywork. Due to the practical nature of this sector, you will be fully trained and supervised as and when required.
You must ideally hold or be working towards recognised industry qualifications and have relevant bodyshop experience.
You will need to be very practically minded and enjoy using your hands and fixing things.
Honest, trustworthy, keen to learn, hardworking, reliable and interested in working in the automotive industry.
A full time position may be available upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
