Description

You will work with the directors to:

  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to www.illustratedliving.co.uk. Track conversion rates and making improvements to the website using Google analytics.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns.
  • Utilise a range of techniques to promote company including paid search, SEO and PPC.
  • Oversee the social media strategy for the company.
  • Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise awareness and generate sales.
  • Maintain visual look of website with fresh and relevant banners and content.
  • Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the website.
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Creating on-brand content for the new Illustrated Living website, and its Instagram, Facebook and Twitter social media accounts, including graphic design, photography, short films etc.
  • Creation and distribution of Illustrated Living branded emails.
  • Researching e-commerce and retail trends to provide information to the Directors on how best to shape the usability of the website and to improve customer experience, both online and in store.

Highly desirable experience but not essential:

  • Evidence of working in a customer focused role - B2C or B2B.
  • Numerate with excellent written English, a good communicator and team player.
  • Relevant work experience in any of the following: Marketing, Social media, Graphic design, Business Development or eCommerce.
  • Experience of creating content for social media using photography, Photoshop and basic editing skills.
  • Focused on detail, resourceful, creative.
  • Dynamic, flexible, enjoys change.
  • Self-motivated and conscientious, good time keeping, reliable.

End Assessment: Apprentices will collate a portfolio of evidence from work projects. Once this portfolio demonstrates all requirements of the programme they will complete the end point assessment. This must be a minimum of 12 months after the start of the programme.

The end point assessment is made up of the following elements:

  • Project - giving the apprentice the opportunity to undertake a business-related project over a one-week period away from the day to day workplace.
  • An employer reference.
  • A structured interview with an assessor - exploring what has been produced in the portfolio and the project as well as looking at how it has been produced.
