Description

We are currently interested in recruiting a Level 2 Equine Groom who would like to join our team with a view to becoming a jockey or experienced work rider.

For the right person we will train you through Haddon Training and when you are ready in a couple of years’ time and fully qualified we will place you with a larger stable who will suit your personality and experience.

We are looking for someone who already rides to a reasonable standard, who is keen to improve and dedicated to learning. Ideally, we would like to give someone this opportunity from mid-August onwards so applicants welcome as soon as possible.

Riding experience is essential. Non-riders will not be considered for this position. Some experience within the racing industry would be beneficial.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training supported by Haddon Training
Successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about succeeding within the racing industry.
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom (with Racing pathway) on successful completion of Level 2
