Job Purpose

To assist in running an effective, busy Samsung Support Centre

  • As a customer service, admin & repair assistant, you will have to represent the Samsung brand to our customers, listen to them and solve their problems in a professional manner whilst ensuring company guidelines are adhered to.
  • To assist each and every member of the team in any tasks which they need help with
  • .To follow correct procedures for booking a device in for repair, collection of a device, testing of a device, telephone manner and any other tasks which are set in each day.
  • Learn the best methods for becoming a vital member of the team and how to become a professional and appropriate employee.
  • Liaising with customers and the internal team using, email & telephone
  • .Relationship building with the team and customers
  • Team Working-To provide support as requested by the manager and other team members, completing tasks to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work
  • To seek advice and input from other team members as appropriate

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

5 GCSE’s grades C above or equivalent

Skills required

  • Motivated and keen to learn new skills
  • Appropriate level of computer literacy, specifically basic understanding and usage of MS Word and Excel
  • Appropriate level of communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to build good relationships
  • Energetic and proactive team player Positive, can-do and friendly person Ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment
  • Well-presented and polite
  • Ability to take the initiative
  • Confident at dealing with people at all levels
  • Reliable and adaptable
  • Willingness to take on challenges and to push oneself
  • Personable

Personal Qualities

  • You must be a highly-motivated individual
  • You must be ready to work extremely hard and be willing to learn from those with many years of experience.
  • Be Familiar with Microsoft office (Excel / Word /etc) Possess Excellent communication skills – written / verbal
  • Be Comfortable working in a team and on your own

Future prospects

The opportunity to progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship with a Level 3 qualification for the right candidate
