Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for two 1st Line Apprentices with The North West Ambulance Service, a branch of the NHS based in Liverpool.
The North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS), was formed on 1 July 2006, as part of Health Minister Lord Warner’s plans to reduce the number of NHS ambulance service trusts operating in the United Kingdom meaning that (NWAS) was given a bigger area to cover, making them the second largest in England.

· To routinely receive requests for assistance via the Service Desk management software and provide advice, support and fault diagnosis on IT related matters to Trust-wide users as directed by ITIL Service Desk Manager.
· To provide documentation of procedures for the installation and support of desktop systems, Trust-wide applications and associated equipment.
· To assist in the server room with operational problems as directed by a 3rd Line Support Specialist or Engineer.
· To provide support in the installation and configuration of all new desktop devices (including IPT phones, smart phones, PC’s, laptops and PDA’s) and associated devices (e.g. printers and scanners) ensuring that the legal licensing requirements are adhered to.
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.
The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt. Learners will receive eight weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated Skills Development Coach who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
