Description
This is a great opportunity to gain a qualification as well as valuable experience. The team at Admirals Landing are looking for a friendly, energetic apprentice to join them within a busy pub restaurant. The focus will be on serving a range of customers and delivering a high level of customer service and meeting customer demands. This position would suit someone that enjoys working in a fast paced environment and wants to learrn and develop within the hospitality industry. You will be working within a team as well as completing tasks individually.
Duties include:
Talking to customers over the phone and in person
Processing card and cash payments
Taking orders and serving food
Keeping hygiene levels up to the required standard
Ensuring that customers needs are met at all times

Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship specialising in Food Production
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.
Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
The individual needs to be of smart appearance and be able to get on with people and work well within a team.
The individual needs to be willing to learn and be able to take simple instructions to complete tasks. Excellent time keeper.
If the candidate succeeds and completes their apprenticeship there will be an opportunity for a job offer and to complete additional courses if suitable.
