Description

An opportunity to learn and grow, within a fun and outstanding rated nursery. You will be fully supported within your role as nursery apprentice, while undertaking your level 3 Early Years Educator training, with a recognised training provider.

Your duties will include:

preparing and carrying out activities with groups of childrenworking alongside other staff to help supervise groups during activities

creating a warm and stimulating atmosphere

adhering to the nurseries policies and procedures at all times

safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children

completing all work to desired timescales by Babcock Training

Someone who ideally has some experience of working with children, or a real passion to work with children (toddlers or pre-school)Ability to care for others, good communication skills to build relationships with children, parents, carers, team members, ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
GCSE at C grade in English and Maths is preferable, but not essential

Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce (Early Years Educator ) Apprenticeship

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
