Victory owns and manages 5,000 properties primarily in the north of Norfolk which provide homes to over 10,000 residents. Whilst the majority of our properties are located within the local authority area of North Norfolk, we also have properties in the local authority areas of Broadland, King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Great Yarmouth, South Norfolk and Breckland. Detailed Job Description

The successful candidates responibilites will include but may not be limited to;

  • To assist in the processing of payables invoices, credit notes, charge card transactions and expense claims in line with approved policies, authorisation levels and procedures.
  • To assist in processing sundry payments including customer refunds and compensation payments.
  • To assist in processing receipts into the housing management system.
  • To assist in the importing of bank statements and the preparation of cashbook journals.
  • To provide general administrative support to the finance team on an ad-hoc basis.

No job description can cover every issue, which may arise. The Finance Apprentice is expected to carry out other duties as they arise which are consistent with the concept of the post

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

The successful candidate will have achieved (or is predicted to achieve) a minimum of GCSE grade C in English & Mathematics (or equivalent).

Skills required

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.

Personal Qualities

  • Highly motivated.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

Future prospects

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to progress within the company or advance onto a level 3 Apprenticeship.

Additional Information

Training provided

We will be using KAPLAN as the training provider – the qualification will be AAT, level 2.

You will be eligible to join the Victory Housing Trust’s Pension Scheme. and receive 27 days, in addition to statutory bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
