Would you like to start an exciting career in Business Administration in the NHS? If the answer is YES then we would like to hear from you. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our forward thinking and friendly Human Resources Directorate. You will be employed on a fixed term Apprentice Agreement with the Trust for 15 months. The post will be based at Trust Headquarters, Sceptre Point, Walton Summit.

Detailed Job Description

Successful applicants will be working towards a set of core competencies so that they have the right basic skills, attitudes and behaviours for a business administration role.

This will include general office duties such as:

  • Filing
  • Copying
  • Using the telephone
  • Customer care
  • Using computer systems
  • Input and update records

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE in Maths and English Language or equivalent

Skills required

  • Applicants should also possess a general understanding of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Be able to use these to produce basic letters, documents and spreadsheets
  • Experience of working in an office environment through employment or work experience would be an advantage

You will need to be:

  • Hard working
  • Excellent team worker
  • Good communication is essential
  • You must also be able to recognise and work within your own limitations

Future prospects

A full time position will be available upon completion of apprenticeship.
