Description
An excellent opportunity to work at Delgados were, you will be learning from the best and high standards are expected at all times.
As an Apprentice Chef, you will work under the supervision of the Executive Chef to deliver a unforgettable dining experience for the customer and become a top chef.
Your duties include but not restricted to;
Assist the Executive Chef with daily tasks within the kitchen,
Food preparation,
Stock control,
Maintaining the cleanliness of the Kitchen,
Some cooking maybe involved
Food presentation and adhering to health and safety policies.
As an Apprentice you will be working towards a Hospitality Qualification with an award winning training provider, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

Excellent communications skills and the ability to carry out instructions in a sufficient manner.
None required just a passion to work in the Hospitality industry. Will complete Maths and English Functional skills as part of the apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Hospitality Team Member Level 2
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.
Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

On completion of the Apprenticeship programme, you will be a fully qualified Chef. As long as the right commitment and attitude is shown on during the Apprentice, a full time position. Employer may increase hours to the right candidate.
