Description

General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Horse management
  • Stable management
  • Grooming at competitions

This is an apprenticeship position for those aged 16-23.

Some previous experience with horses is required. If we feel you do not have the relevant experience needed, we will not be able to put you forward for this position.
No formal qualifications are required for this position.

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.

Functional Skills

keen, hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, calm and confident handling horses, friendly, good sense of humour.

Full time position on completion of diploma.

Accommodation and own space for horse possible. If horse on DIY livery, 10 hours per week will be deducted to do own horses during work hours.
