Description

Verve People are looking for a willing and friendly apprentice to join their team providing excellent customer service to the public as well as administrative support to the office. As an administration apprentice, you will be involved with the daily running of the office.

Duties Include:

Use of the telephone and emails

Handling mail Meeting and greeting clients

Prepare written responses to routine enquiries

Carrying out general admin duties to include filing, typing, photocopying and scanning.

Processing incoming correspondence.

This role is a hospitality based role within the office.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification, this will involve a Regional Trainer who will visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training, coach you, as well as observing you whilst you work.

Basic IT skills are required as this role involved working with a computer. The right candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn, be punctual and organised.
No specific qualifications are required, as full training is to be provided.

Level 2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.

The right candidate would need to be confident and bubbly as this will involve communication with clients when answering the phone.
There is a permanent position available, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
