As an Apprentice Rental Sales Agent what will I be doing?
Working in a fast paced environment, providing a high quality service, to assist customers in choosing the best rental vehicle for them.
The role is designed to give you a strong grounding in all aspects of working in a successful car and van rental outlet, and ultimately leading to a permanent role with wide ranging career possibilities. Whilst working in the role, you will experience two sides of the business: rental sales and fleet co-ordination. This is to ensure you have a full understanding of the business’ operations and means that in the future you will find it easier to develop and grow within the company.
Rental Sales Agent duties range from customer engagement, selling additional products, customer check-out, check-in, assisting in the organisation of vehicle delivery and collection.
Fleet Co-ordinators duties usually include a range of functions, such as vehicle financing, vehicle maintenance, vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostics), driver management, speed management, fuel management and health and safety management.

GCSE or equivalent maths and English at grade D or above desirable but not essential.
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service (Standard).
This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.
