A great opportunity for an apprentice administrator to help support the Business Development team. Including the development of relationships, developing proposals, project management, updating systems and reporting, etc. It will involve communicating with prospective / existing clients and internal departments, using email, phone and internal systems.

Detailed Job Description

  • To support marketing, PR, product range development (including training programmes) and customer development.
  • To help track and monitor sector development
  • To support the Business Development Manager (BDM) in the development of all the business sectors as and when required
  • To assist in the organisation/coordination and development of KMUK’s value proposition, incorporating product development/supply chain and value added services to all sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the BDM in material and service sourcing for nonstandard requirements for all sectors. This will include the creation of purchase orders and other relevant documentation.
  • To prepare formal SAP quotations to customers, and follow to a conclusion.
  • To co-ordinate and administer the necessary testing requirements on materials for all customers.
  • To maintain the Achilles database, including our response to customer specific questions
  • To assist the BDM in project management of specific orders for our clients.
  • To assist the BDM to successfully develop ASD’s position within the range of sectors, enhancing our current sales and gross margin.
  • To assist the BDM maintain ASD’s market sector knowledge including project and key relationships within the CRM system.
  • To support market research and product detailed reports on sectors, project pipelines and business opportunities.
  • To attend exhibitions/events when required.
  • To assist in developing related/sector training programs to all commercial employees

Qualifications required

GCSE English Language and Maths: Grade 4 ( C ) or higher
