Description
Critical Purpose of Role
• To support the Finance team with processing and management of purchase ledger invoices and other ad hoc duties.
Main Responsibilities
• Processing invoices as per the Purchase Order system in SAGE 200
• Processing Sales invoices and customer payments in SAGE 200
• Liaising with Sales and Commercial teams to resolve any queries
• Reconciling Supplier Accounts
• Chasing and recording contractor timesheets and approvals
• Any other ad-hoc requests as advised by the Revenue Team Leader

• Able to multi task and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure deliverables are provided in accordance with business requirements
• Excellent at time management and able to work to tight deadlines
• Strong team player, supporting the Revenue Team Leader and Finance colleagues
• Good with numbers and has an eye for detail
• Proactive and always looking for continuous process improvement
Relevant Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory:
• Strong MS Outlook experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Advantageous:
• Previous experience in an accounts department / office environment
• SAGE 200 experience

As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the AAT Level 3 qualification. The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
