IESA have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team.

You will learn skills to develop and deliver strategic savings onto blue chip clients, you will also be trained in accounts, expediting, order acknowledgement and accounts help desk. This is a great position for the right candidate as it will give an insight into how the company works and also provides the opportunity to learn a variety of tasks within a friendly office.

Role Highlights

Answering emails, phone calls and the taking and relaying of messages to staff members,

Processing and filing incoming mail, Liaising with staff, Monitoring and sorting of staff contracts,

You will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication.

Using our booking system and working closely with the team

Apprenticeship Highlights You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in Business Administration at Level 2.

As part of your Apprenticeship you will learn how to:

Organise activities calendars

Ensure all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner

You will receive onsite training with an award winning training provider Learn life skills

Somebody who can work under their own initiative

Somebody able to work different shifts

To be successful in this role you will be educated to GCSE level sufficient confidence in the use of IT.

You will also be excellent at multi-tasking with superb attention to detail and organisational skills.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

GCSE grades C or above in maths and English but not essential as full training will be given.

Apprenticeship Business Administration Level 2

Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.

Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.

Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

We require someone who is friendly and organised.

You must possess effective communication skills,

be able to problem-solve,

have good planning and organisation skills, and a professional manner and work ethic.

On completion of the Apprenticeship you will have a chance to apply for a full time internal contract. There are also fantastic progression opportunities where successful candidates can apply for a management Development Programme to further their skills and knowledge.
