Full study support to gain a globally recognised qualification with the ICAEW Linked learning approach with Kaplan, who are a multi award winning training provider.

As part of a multi award winning medium sized firm, you will have the opportunity to work with our wide and eclectic client base across the accounting and financial spectrum. Our ACA Audit Trainees come from a variety of different academic and cultural backgrounds.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

We do not require ACA Audit Trainees to have a business or financial background. However, we do ask that all applicants have achieved, or are predicted to achieve at least a 2.1 in your honours degree, and at least 112 UCAS Points from 3 A-levels (based on the new 2017 UCAS Tariff), or equivalent, all achieved during the same exam year. This excludes General Studies.

Alternatively, you may already be AAT qualified and have achieved at least 280 UCAS points (based on the UCAS Tariff prior to the new change) from 3 A-levels - or equivalent, all achieved during the same exam year. This excludes General Studies.

Skills required

Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential

Personal Qualities

Able to build strong relationships, attention to detail, enthusiasm, takes pride in work and delivering outstanding service, numerate, great verbal and non verbal communication skills, an ability and passion to solve complex problems.

Additional Information

Training provided

You will study the ACA qualification with Kaplan

ACA Certificate Level (or CFAB) is made up of 6 exams and is the entry level which leads on to the Professional Level as part of the full ACA qualification.

The Professional Level consists of a further 6 modules. These build on the knowledge gained from the Certificate Level papers.

The Advanced Level is made up of 3 papers which can be sat all together or separately. Case Study is the final exam which builds on the all prior knowledge gained.
