Apprentice Sales Executive

A great opportunity for an apprentice to provide administrative support to the Sales team. Including the development of relationships, processing orders, taking queries, resolving customer elated issues, updating systems and reporting, etc. It will involve communicating with prospective / existing clients and internal departments, using email, phone and internal systems.

Detailed Job Description

Duties to include ·

  • Assist to customers who may need help with orders, requests and complaints
  • Responsible for dealing with invoice queries, and report generation as required
  • Handling Customer requests FPOC (First Point Of Contact), queries and complaints through all communication mediums, phone, email, fax etc. Maintaining good customer relations
  • Production of reports as required by the sales exec and management team
  • Maximise selling opportunities and ensure targets are achieved
  • Provide internal office support to External Sales team
  • Data input into SAP, Excel as required.

  • Pro-actively seek and pursue new business
  • Highlighting any issues before they arise
  • Be the first point of contact for day to day customers and prospects
  • Work to established standards, incorporating continuous improvement, ensure company and customer requirements are met
  • Contributes to achieving cost reduction targets for the department
  • Ensures that output targets are achieved. Participates in continuous improvement activities to increase Sales capacity
  • Produce a programme of sales calls, both promotional and cold calls.
  • Ensure contact with customers and prospects meet agreed targets
  • Build a positive relationship with customers to identify their needs and improve customer purchase frequency

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE Grades 5+ (C+), Level 3 qualifications would be advantageous (not essential as the right candidate will be offered development)

Hourly Rate - 16-17 : £4.20 – plus bonus 18-20 : £5.90 – plus bonus 21-24 : £7.38 – plus bonus 25+ : £7.83
