Fantastic opportunity for an apprentice groom/rider position at a busy competition yard in East Sussex, with the opportunity for own horse on livery for the right candidate. The job will include general yard duties and dealing with quality jumping horses and young stock. A capable rider is preferred but not essential. Opportunities to assist at competitions. The applicant must be keen and willing to learn. This is not an opportunity to be missed! General duties to include; Mucking out Turning out/bringing in Tack cleaning Tacking up Feeding Filling hay nets Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing Rug changing Schooling Riding First aid Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
