experience of logging customer issues experience in a customer focused role strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows OS and Mac OSX and MS Server 2008/2012/2016 networking experience (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANS) knowledge of Active Directory (ADDS) knowledge of anti-virus software knowledge of Office 365/in-house exchange 2010 + knowledge of server backups (off site and local) experience troubleshooting MS Office 2010/2013/2016 knowledge of remote access tools such as Teamviewer
minimum 5 GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/4 or above, including English and maths. Level 3 in Systems and Networking or an equivalent qualification 180 credits BTEC or A-Level (or equivalent)
Network engineer standard (Level 4)Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
good understanding of PC hardware and software set-up and configuration and TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP networking skills excellent telephone manner MTA certification would be desirable
